Removal of the existing intumescent coating from the eye beams of a large Christchurch carpark, in preparation for a new coating to be applied for an upgrade. Peel Away 8 was applied then covered with the protective sheets taped up for full encapsulation and containment no fumes and water soluble. The work was carried out from 10.00pm to 6.00 am so the car park could remain operational during the day, the application and removal was carried out by Richards Contracting Ltd from Christchurch in con junction with the main contractor Southbase Construction Ltd.
